Newsweek never fails to deliver some great humor:
You can blame Hollywood’s doom and gloom on the Oscars, but I’m not going to. Instead, I think it’s George W. Bush’s fault. Most liberal directors felt restless under his presidency, and they pushed the envelope with over-the-top, operatic tragedies.
Something even funnier? This is not a satirical piece. Newsweek’s Ramin Setoodeh is very much serious about this absurd assertion.
Obama is president now so happy-sunshiny, unicorn-flyin’ movies should be the norm now, right? Two wars abroad! Double-digit unemployment! Yeah!
Obama is the opiate of the masses.
My tumblarity just took a hit. I am blaming Bush.

Ha ha ha ha! I shouldnt laugh at this… this is actually very scary that people can blame the movies being made on Bush…...
This can’t possibly be serious. Oh, wait…is the fact that this article is serious and not satirical Bush’s fault too?...
